By accessing or using Outaged.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Outaged provides real time monitoring information about third party online services. We display status information derived from automated synthetic probes and anonymous user submitted reports. The Service is provided for informational purposes only.
You may use Outaged for personal and commercial informational purposes. You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: submitting false or misleading outage reports, attempting to manipulate status data, scraping or automated bulk access without prior written permission, interfering with the operation of the Service, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.
When you submit a problem report, you do so anonymously. Your IP address is hashed for rate limiting purposes and is never stored in raw form. By submitting a report, you confirm that you are reporting a genuine issue you are experiencing. We reserve the right to discard or ignore reports that appear to be spam, automated, or otherwise abusive. Reports become part of our aggregate data and cannot be individually retracted.
The status information displayed on Outaged is provided "as is" and "as available." We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy through independent probing and cross referencing with user reports, but we do not guarantee that status information is complete, accurate, or current at all times. Probe failures, network conditions, and other factors may affect the data we display. You should not rely solely on Outaged for critical operational decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Outaged and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. This includes but is not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (which, for the free tier, is zero). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
All content, design, code, and branding on Outaged is owned by Signalforge or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written permission. Service names, logos, and trademarks displayed on Outaged belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
We aim to keep Outaged available around the clock, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We are not liable for any unavailability of the Service.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these terms or uses the Service in a manner we deem harmful, without prior notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Norway.
